Meeting with Minister for Health
Representatives from SMA were glad to have met with Minister for Health Mr Ong Ye Kung on 24 February 2022, to discuss pertinent healthcare-related matters, including preventive health matters.

Health issues raised in Parliament
SMA President, Dr Tan Yia Swam, raised several issues relating to healthcare in Parliament during the Committee of Supply 2022 debate. This included concerns regarding third-party administrators (TPAs) and protecting healthcare workers (HCWs) from abuse.
