PC renewal for year 2025

For fully and conditionally registered doctors whose Practising Certificates (PCs) are expiring on 31 December 2024, the application for the renewal of PC starting 2025 will take place from 2 September 2024 till 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive).

Please ensure that you have sufficient continuing medical education points to renew your PC.

Do also note that applications submitted on and after 1 December 2024 will be considered late applications, and a late application fee of $80 will apply. To avoid the late application fee, doctors should log into the Professional Registration System via the Singapore Medical Council’s (SMC) website (https://bit.ly/3YILqSH) with your Singpass and two-factor authentication at least one month before your PC expires to apply for a renewal.

For further clarifications, please contact SMC at SMC@spb.gov.sg.

TriMedSoc Alliance renews MOU

SMA congratulates the Duke-NUS Student Council, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) Students’ Medical Society, and National University of Singapore (NUS) Medical Society, on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 17 August 2024 to renew the TriMedSoc Alliance, a collaboration established in 2021 between the student associations of Singapore’s three medical schools.

We have maintained a close partnership with the three student associations, including co-organising the TriMedSoc Alliance’s flagship event, the SMA National Medical Students’ Convention. Beyond this, SMA also works closely with student associations representing Singaporean medical students training in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and the UK. SMA holds regular engagements with the local medical student population, and we look forward to more opportunities to work with the TriMedSoc Alliance and overseas medical student associations to advocate for medical students and doctors in training.

More details on the MOU renewal can be found in the following press releases:
