Renewal of Practising Certificates for doctors
Fully and conditionally registered doctors whose Practising Certificates are expiring on 31 December 2021 can apply for renewal online via the Professional Registration System from 2 September 2021 onwards.
Please submit your application no later than 30 November 2021. A nonrefundable late application fee of S$80 will be charged for applications submitted from 1 December 2021 onwards.

2021 CMAAO General Assembly and Council Meeting
The Confederation of Medical Associations in Asia and Oceania (CMAAO) held its 2021 General Assembly and Council Meeting online from 2 to 3 September 2021.
The event included a symposium on "Countermeasures against COVID-19". The online meeting was represented by Dr Chong Yeh Woei, Chairperson of CMAAO, and Dr Wong Tien Hua, SMA's representative and CMAAO councillor.
Dr Chong was re-elected as CMAAO Chairperson during the event. The SMA Council congratulates Dr Chong on his re-appointment and expresses sincere thanks for his voluntary service to the regional group. Dr Chong served as SMA President from 2009 to 2012 and is currently Chairperson of the SMA Charity Fund.
