Update of particulars
For Members who have changes to your personal particulars (eg, email address/postal address), please update us by sending an email to membership@sma.org.sg.
Keeping your email address updated is important, as most of SMA's communications with our Members are via email. Your email address is also the username for logging in to our SMA website, and any password reset requests will be sent to your email.
SMA Membership Renewal Gifts
SMA conducted a membership renewal gift collection for Members this past July, as part of the renewal exercise to thank Members for their support.
Members in good standing were entitled to two gifts: a limited edition lighted SMACF “Sabrella" and a four-in-one multi-pen. Due to the closure of the SMA office during the COVID-19 pandemic, SMA opened up time slots over two weeks in July for Members to schedule their gift collection.
Members who were unable to collect their gifts will be notified on the next collection period.
Changes pertaining to vocational drivers aged 65 and above
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) and the traffic police have streamlined their requirements for the medical examination for vocational drivers aged 65 and above. LTA has also made changes to the driving test for Class 3 vocational drivers turning 70, 73 and 74 years old. Class 3 and Class 4 vocational drivers affected by the deferment of statutory medical examinations during circuit breaker have been granted a six-month extension to undergo the medical and pass their driving tests.

Renewal of SMC Practising Certificates
Fully and conditionally registered doctors whose Practising Certificates (PCs) are expiring on 31 December 2020 can apply for renewal online from 2 September 2020 onwards.
Please submit your application latest by 30 November 2020. A non-refundable late application fee of $80 will be charged for applications submitted from 1 December 2020 onwards.
