Responsibilities
The Assistant Medical Director’s roles are:
- Fulfil clinical roles expected of a Family Physician in the clinics.
- Develop and oversee policies, good practices, standards of care and service protocols for processes and practices in clinical areas, operations and workplace safety, and communicate them to key stakeholders.
- Work closely with Clinic Operations teams to drive continuous quality improvement (clinical & operational) initiatives.
- Optimizing clinic efficiencies and managing costs.
- Coordinate care for escalated patient needs throughout the week.
- Assist training and development programmes for doctors and staff.
- Assist with development of policies to meet government/corporate client requirements and ensure smooth implementation and adherence.
- Manpower management, recruitment and rostering.
- Build and sustain effective relations with clients, authorities, other medical professionals and service providers to advance the organization.
- Be involved in special projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Medicine from a recognized University
- Relevant Post Graduate Qualifications preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant clinical and management experience in a private medical care provider
