Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Palliative Care Physician to provide clinical leadership and specialist care for patients with advanced illness, frailty, dementia, and end-of-life care needs across our nursing homes and home-based services.

This role combines patient care, multidisciplinary leadership, clinical governance and professional supervision within our Integrated Home & Palliative Care Services (IHPCS).

Job Description / Job Responsibilities
  • Provide palliative care in nursing homes and patients' homes.
  • Conduct clinical assessments.
  • Lead Advance Care Planning (ACP), goals-of-care discussions, and end-of-life decision-making with patients and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
  • Supervise nurses, locum doctors and APN.
  • Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiative.
  • Enhance Integrated Palliative Care Services.
Job Requirements
  • Fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
  • Graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine (GDPM) or equivalent palliative care qualification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of post-registration clinical experience.
  • Experience in palliative care, geriatrics, community medicine, home care, hospice care, or nursing home medicine.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary leadership, clinical supervision, and quality improvement
