St. Andrew's Community Hospital is part of St. Andrew's Mission Hospital (SAMH), which was founded in 1913 by Dr. Charlotte Ferguson-Davie, wife of the Bishop of Singapore, to provide healthcare to poor women and children.

St. Andrew’s Community Hospital offers Rehabilitative, Sub-acute, Dementia, and Palliative Care, mostly for patients transferred from acute hospitals.

Job Description / Job Responsibilities
  • Do daily patient rounds and clinics, ordering treatments and tests.
  • Handle new admissions, review histories, examine patients, and talk to families.
  • Join rounds with consultants and follow their advice.
  • Perform procedures like suturing, IV's, and catheterization.
  • Join patient care mettings and help with care and discharge plans.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Do exit rounds and hand over to on-call doctor.
  • Take 1st line on-call.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a Medical Degree recognized by the Singapore Medical Council, with relevant post-graduate training in areas like Internal Medicine, Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, Palliative care, or Family Medicine.
  • Have a basic post-graduate medical degree, such as Member of the Royal College of Physicians or a Master's in Family Medicine.
  • Possess 2 to 8 years of experience after qualification.
