The Medical Services Division aims to provide an excellent and comprehensive healthcare for the officers and staff in the Ministry of Home Affairs. Our mission is to provide uniformed officers with proper health protection, ensure that they are medically fit for their operational roles and promote the healthy living practices for all the staff.
The primary functions of this role include (but are not limited to):
i. Conducting formative clinical research and evidence synthesis;
ii. Maintaining an Occupational Health (OH) Registry to monitor OH events & cases;
iii. Developing appropriate care tools and delivering quality clinical insights within the Home Team;
iv. Providing medical support reviews, plans and protocols, as well as medical guidance on
non-routine immunisation programmes and management of infectious diseases;
v. Establishing assessment standards for medical fitness.
