Woodlands Health is Singapore’s latest public healthcare institution and provides care to residents in northwest Singapore. The Campus features a fully integrated acute and community hospital, specialist outpatient clinics, intermediate and long-term care facilities, and green healing spaces. We offer a range of acute, sub-acute, rehabilitative and transitional care services, working closely with our partners to provide seamless care within and beyond our Campus. When fully open, Woodlands Health will operate 1400 beds across 3 care settings.

Woodlands Health is a member of the National Healthcare Group; which provides care through an integrated network of primary care polyclinics, acute care and tertiary hospitals and national specialty centres to one third of Singapore’s population. Clinicians within NHG are actively engaged in Clinical Research and Education through affiliations with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Job Description / Job Responsibilities

We are looking for doctors who are interested in broad-based and clinical-focused work at the Departments of Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine, ICU, Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery and Surgery.

About the Hospital Clinician career scheme

The Hospital Clinician scheme is a comprehensive and structured long-term career path for doctors who aspire to take on higher duties and wider responsibilities in a hospital setting. Hospital Clinicians will anchor inpatient care services in acute and subacute public hospitals (including Community Hospitals), in a role complementary to specialists. Through development of broad-based as well as clinical focused skills, Hospital Clinicians will form the “backbone” of the hospital’s medical care resource, working in teams with Specialist doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals.

Job Requirements

MOPEX and other locally trained doctors with at least 3 years of clinical and relevant experiences.
Enjoys broad-based work in a variety of different settings in the public sector.
Aspires to take on clinical and admin leadership roles.
