Responsibilities

• Assess, examine and diagnosing diseases, illnesses and/or conditions
• Assessing the need for therapies and/or medications and prescribing them
• Monitor and provide general care to patients in outpatients clinics and hospital wards
• Liaising daily with staff including other doctors, non-medical management staff and healthcare professionals
• Writing medical reports and maintaining records
• Promote health education
• Specific tasks depend on specialty e.g. surgical procedures

• Fully Registered Doctor with Singapore Medical Council
• Relevant postgraduate medical qualifications in the specific disciplines
• Possess extensive knowledge regarding a wide range of medical conditions
• Good patient physician communication skills, and bedside manners
• Demonstrate effective team work and leadership skills
• Engage with colleagues to maintain and improve the safety and quality of patient care
• Contribute to discussions  and decisions about improving the quality of services and outcomes
