The Singapore Medical Association (SMA) is aware of messages, and also a petition relating to COVID-19, which claims to be attributed to a “Former President of Singapore Medical Association”.
This is to put on record that the current SMA Council including its current President absolutely dissociates itself with both the messages and petition.
Based on the past SMA Presidents we have contacted, we have no reason to believe that these originated from any living Past President of SMA.
We will retract this statement if he identifies himself and demonstrates himself as one.
