Synopsis:
The prevalence of GERD was used to be higher in Western world compared to Asia. However, with the increase in the prevalence of obesity across Asia, the GERD incidence is rising in Asia countries including Singapore. GERD affects up to 1 in 5 people. It is also the digestive disease with the highest direct cost ahead of colorectal cancer and liver disease. In this webinar, we will discuss about the update on diagnosis, medical, surgical and dietary management of GERD.
