In the Asian context, the family remains important in the overall care of the patient in both primary and tertiary settings. In most situations, the patient is the primary decision-maker however, engaging the broader family is necessary particularly, in paediatric and geriatric practice. This symposium explores the ethical issues surrounding informed consent and shared decision - making when families are involved in the process.

Guidelines and Requirements
Withdrawals/Refunds of Fees.

Written notice of withdrawal must be received at least one (1) week prior to the event.

No-shows will not be accepted as a valid reason for withdrawal or refund.
MME Attendance Submission
- SMA will submit MME attendance for participants who attend at least 75% of the live session.

Submission will be completed within two (2) weeks after the webinar.
- Kindly note that MME attendance submission is not applicable to participants who did not register via SMA and joined the session using a Zoom link from other sources.

To ensure accurate records, SMA will only be able to submit attendance for participants who provided complete and correct MCR numbers during Zoom registration.
