GP Education Series: Hepatocellular carcinoma: multidisciplinary collaboration

Chaired by Adj A/Prof Vishal G Shelat, this event is part of our efforts to raise awareness and promote education on liver cancer. The webinar will feature eight distinguished speakers covering a range of topics crucial to the understanding and management of liver cancer.
Our lineup includes discussions on the role of Hepatitis B and C viruses in liver cancer, the tumor microenvironment, surgical considerations, liver-directed and locally ablative therapies, and the current status of systemic therapies in HCC. Additionally, the webinar will explore the lesser-known relationship between sleep and HCC, the nurse clinician’s role in patient care, and the Singapore Cancer Society’s activities and programs for HCC patients.
The session will conclude with a 20-minute panel discussion, allowing participants to engage directly with the experts and deepen their understanding of the topics presented.
